When King Charles III first announced that he was battling cancer, his youngest son rushed to his side.
Months later, Prince Harry is no longer singing about kumbaya and reconciliation. Instead, he has initiated an ugly battle with the 75-year-old Monarch over his security arrangements.
Prince Harry is seeking the same level of security and protection that he and Meghan Markle had when they were royals, a privilege, and benefit of the royal job they resigned from almost five years ago.
In other words, Prince Harry is now publicly attempting to shame and blackmail King Charles to handle his security despite terminating his contract with the institution.
Prince Harry has been using the media to pressure his father. He has told PEOPLE Magazine and The Daily Beast that his father has the power to give him the security he needs to travel to England with Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
A close pal of Prince Harry explained to PEOPLE Magazine: “If he had proper security, he wouldn’t need to speak publicly to help pay for it. If the matter of security is resolved, it’s swords down. Indeed, nothing would give [Harry] more happiness than being able to rekindle his bond with his father. At the end of the day, you can’t undo bloodlines. He’s not asking his dad for a nicer house or nicer cars. He’s asking because of the reality of the situation. He is at risk.”
A family friend of The King told The Daily Beast that Prince Harry’s latest media leaks confirm that he has officially turned on his evil energy to blackmail the sick Monarch and added: “Harry has lost his security case in court and is now trying the emotional blackmail route to get what he wants instead, cynically using the threat of Archie and Lilibet never meeting their grandfather again to coerce the king into overruling RAVEC. The idea that the security forces are going to allow the Sussexes to be attacked by an acid-throwing or knife-wielding maniac on British soil is absurd, and Harry knows it.”
The friend went on to share a truth that was not yet known to the public — King Charles’s cancer is serious, and Prince Harry should step back and stop creating so much stress for His Majesty, who is already dealing with a heavy emotional and physical burden.
The royal insider underlines the severity of the situation by saying: “Using it as leverage, as a reason to withhold his kids from their grandfather, is beyond contempt. Charles is being treated for very serious cancer, so even if he could find the time, he cannot just fly to Los Angeles at the drop of a hat, like Harry can—and actually did earlier this year—in the other direction.”
