A royal source told In Touch that the current monarch is having difficulty behind the scenes.
It is claimed that His Majesty and his staff have shortened the engagements because he gets tired fast.
Sources told the publication that King Charles has also been forced to travel more often by helicopter because of his heartbreaking health status.
One insider claimed: “He’s making public appearances, but they’re for shorter periods. He’s often whisked in by helicopter and then whisked out. After an engagement, he needs a good rest.”
According to the media outlet, King Charles is allegedly dealing with pancreatic cancer and is more than ever aware that his time with his loved ones is limited.
However, Palace aides are working tirelessly to maintain King Charles’s privacy during his struggle. But, they are conscious that he might not live to be 99 like his late father.
The person said: “The palace gives the impression that Charles is on the mend, but he’s still very sick. Still, he’s the king, and palace officials are practical enough to know death is a possibility. The business of planning his funeral has already begun. Unpleasant as it seems.”
