Meghan Markle had high hopes when she entered the Royal Family.
The former actress hoped to bring a fresh perspective to the institution and enact changes that the family and century-old instruction never requested.
Markle also planned to gain some sparkle and star power by rubbing elbows with King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
However, that is different from how the story went. Prince Harry, however, is resolute in his mission to redefine his narrative.
Despite stepping down from his royal duties and bashing the monarchy and his relatives in countless interviews, Prince Harry still wants all things royals.
The duke has decided to open a royal franchise with what has become quasi- or fake royal tours. These are tours that, while resembling official royal visits, are not authorized by King Charles and the monarchy.
King Charles issued a warning on these international trips, expressing his disapproval and making it clear that they needed to stop. This warning was a significant move, indicating The King‘s stance on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s actions.
A royal insider spilled via The Daily Mail: “It’s no secret Prince William and King Charles take issue with them using their titles to advance their brand. But the Duke and Duchess are defiant and don’t care what anyone thinks.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took two royal tours this year despite The King’s disapproval. The pair embarked on trips to Nigeria and Colombia.
Reports claimed that Prince Harry and Markle are eyeing a visit to India next year. Prince Harry, driven by his deep love for his wife, will defy his father’s disapproval to raise her to the status he believes she deserves.
Royal author Anna Pasternak compared Prince Harry and Markle’s royal tour to The Duke of Windsor and Wallis, Duchess of Windsor‘s infamous trip to Germany in 1937.
The abdicated King and his wife toured Germany to find purpose and experience the love of a nation.
Speaking to The Telegraph, the expert explained: “They accepted [the invitation] because Edward felt so hurt and angered by the way the Royal family had rejected Wallis, and he desperately wanted her to experience the pomp and ceremony of a royal tour.”
The royal author went on to say that Prince Harry is forever seeking ways for his wife to be appreciated and validated by the people.
She revealed: “He wanted Wallis addressed as HRH and for people to curtsy to her. I’m not suggesting that Harry wants the pomp and ceremony of a Royal tour, but there is a feeling that he’d like [to elevate] Meghan to the status accorded to her.”
She concluded by saying: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle really value the approval of the people of the country they’re visiting.”
