The heir and his wife, Kate Middleton, have indicated that there are certain actions or behaviors that they cannot tolerate or accept from Prince Harry and have, therefore, cut ties with him and Meghan Markle.
However, the situation is more complicated and delicate for King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla.
Prince Harry has attempted to obliterate everything and everyone related to the British monarchy with his bombastic memoir, Spare, a book filled with accusations and revelations that have caused significant controversy.
With the help of his wife, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry delivered accusations and made unimaginable revelations. He brought up racism, physical and mental abuse, and abandonment.
Prince Harry’s words and actions caused insufferable pain to The King, 75, who is battling cancer.
Nonetheless, His Majesty is a loving father who still wants to have a relationship with Prince Harry, Markle, and their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The uncomfortable decision to be in Prince Harry’s life has left some awkward and head shaking meetings.
Recently, Prince Harry flew to London to see his father. The former soldier came to the U.K. shortly after His Majesty announced to the world that he was battling cancer.
There were conflicting reports about Queen Camilla’s presence during the brief face-to-face.
This week, friends of The Queen spoke to The Daily Beast to confirm that she was present at the meeting.
Not only did Queen Camilla and her stepson meet, but they also talked — and it did not go well.
Queen Camilla came to the rendezvous to be supportive of her sick husband, but she was also expecting an apology from the man who called her evil, the other woman, and other vile names in Spare and in interviews.
However, Prince Harry refused to apologize for his behavior. The outlet shared: “The Daily Beast understands that Camilla was also present at the meeting, marking the first time they had spoken face to face since he cast toxic aspersions on her in his memoir and in interviews promoting it, saying she was prepared to leave “bodies in the street” in her quest to be made Queen. Harry did not apologize to her at that encounter for his remarks.”
Queen Camilla was said to be disheartened but not surprised by Prince Harry’s tough and ignoble act or his lack of remorse and responsibility for the chaos he brought to his family.
King Charles, unhappy with Prince Harry’s insolence, cut the meeting short and has since refused to see his son.
Prince Harry has traveled to the U.K. multiple times since that meeting with The Queen and King and has been turned away every time he requests a visit with his father.
Royal sources told The Daily Beast that Queen Camilla has a loud voice in her husband’s ears, pushing him to deny Prince Harry any contact.
The news website explained: “King Charles III would like to meet with his son, Prince Harry, when he visits the U.K. next week but is weighing advice from advisers, including his wife, that it would be unwise to do so. One of her friends told The Daily Beast that Queen Camilla wants Charles to skip a meeting with Harry to avoid stress as he fights cancer.”
