After Kate Middleton, Zara Tindall is the new Royal family member trying to bring peace between Prince Harry and Prince William.
Princess Anne‘s daughter wants to be a mediator. It is not clear that her efforts will work. However, she has an advantage over many others, she is close to the two brothers.
In a Royal Family torn by animosity in the past four years, Zara Tindall has been able to keep an open line of communication with all of the major players.
The 43-year-old equestrian plans to build on that foundation to restore some peace in the kingdom. An insider told Express: “Zara figures there couldn’t be a better time for her to try and broker peace. Zara feels she’s the only one who can get through to both of them.”
The source continued: “She’s one of the few family members who can be honest with both of them without it being seen as taking sides. She’s doing this for the family, for her grandmother’s legacy, and for their own futures.”
While many observers are applauding her efforts on the matter, others believe it is a futile move. The Duke of Sussex has made it clear he wants to reconcile.
However, The Prince of Wales does not think that the relationship can recover. Moreover, Prince William is always waiting for the other shoe to drop when it comes to his brother.
The heir to the throne might be onto something because Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, is still holding an important card. After watching her husband obtain close to $20 million for his memoir Spare, the former actress is thinking about doing the same thing.
Markle wants to share “her truth,” and people in the publishing world are ready to pay a lot of money for those words. The mother of two wants to tell her side of the story regarding her days as a working member of the Royal Family.
According to reports, a bidding war is already going on about the biography. To make things more complicated for Prince Harry and Prince William, she plans to drop the memoir at the most opportune time.
Markle wants her book to have a major impact, so she may release it when it is not very convenient for the British royals. A source told Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan‘s memoirs, and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high. We’re talking tens of millions for her authorized biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no. And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”
The insider continued: “She’s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth – and why shouldn’t she when she’s endured so much?”
Markle might be holding the book to give peace a chance, but its release will break any real reconciliation prospects for good.
