Prince Harry‘s wife is not a fan of the former president; she has made that clear repeatedly. However, the former actress found herself repeating the Trump family’s infamous catchphrases this week.
Markle made a solo engagement to a local charity in California. The mother of two visited Girls Inc., located in Santa Barbara.
Markle participated in Social Media U, which aims to improve youngsters’ relationships with technology.
The mother of two was present to talk to the young crowd about the pressures and dangers of social media.
Meghan Markle was supposed to give these young people tips and suggestions on how to navigate cyberbullying, dangerous trends, and depression often linked to social media.
At some point during the meeting, Markle spoke about herself and used Donald and Melania Trump‘s jaw-dropping talking points.
Markle claimed she is the most bullied person on this planet. #HalfTheStory founder Larissa May told Vanity Fair how Meghan Markle “talked about being one of the most bullied people in the world.”
She explained to the media outlet: “We did an activity where we talked through a bunch of different scenarios, and Meghan talked about being one of the most bullied people in the world. We had girls wave these little emoji signs and discuss how these scenarios would have impacted them emotionally. We talked about what it really means to grow up in this digital age.”
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield took another angle after reading Markle’s confession about being the most bullied person on earth.
The royal expert said that Markle is putting the spotlight on the most significant controversy in her life — the many accusations made by former staff in England and the US who say that she bullied them, made them cry, and even forced them to resign.
The podcast host stated that Markle is gaslighting the public in the wake of the Palace’s investigation and the Hollywood Reporter‘s extensive dossier.
She said: “Many will consider Meghan referring to herself as the most bullied person in the world while being a target of a Buckingham Palace bullying investigation, or a Hollywood Reporter investigation a masterclass in gaslighting.”
She Schofield: “By continuing to draw attention to the concept of bullying, she is only attracting more attention to her bullying allegations.”
Observers say Markle has internalized a lot of the criticisms that she receives.
