Meghan Markle has decided to spend another Christmas away from all family members, and Prince Harry seems hopeless in the situation.
It is a known fact that Prince Harry is estranged from the Royal Family. Therefore, no one would be surprised to learn that King Charles III, who is battling cancer, wants nothing to do with the stress and anxiety that Prince Harry and Markle carry in their traveling luggage.
For the fifth year, King Charles has decided not to invite Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their young children to spend the year-end holidays in Sandringham.
His Majesty prefers to spend a quiet Christmas with his wife, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
However, Prince Harry’s maternal family believes that he should reconnect with his British roots.
The Spencers also want Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to discover their British heritage, and what better time to do it than during Christmas?
Sources revealed to Express that Princess Diana‘s brother, Charles Spencer, has extended an invitation to Prince Harry and his family for Christmas.
According to The Express: “Charles [Spencer] has invited Harry, Meghan, and the children to Althorp this Christmas. It’s far too early to say whether they will take him up on it, but the offer is there if they want it.”
The person in the know went on to explain that King Charles will not be making any Christmas gestures towards Prince Harry and his family.
The royal source shared: “There hasn’t been an invitation extended to Sandringham just yet, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be one forthcoming. It would be highly unlikely if there were an invitation extended [to Sandringham], and I don’t think the Sussexes) would take them up on it anyway.”
The Spencers’ good intentions have been rejected by Prince Harry and the former actress, citing security reasons.
A well-placed source told Express they had turned down the invitation for security reasons. The insider stated: “Harry and Meghan are not going to spend Christmas with the Spencers or the Royal Family this year. It’s just not an option with the children at the moment due to what’s been going on with their security.”
Despite the ongoing court drama between Prince Harry and the British government over his request for proper security in the UK, The Duke of Sussex has made almost a dozen trips to his home country without Markle.
It is believed that Markle, who fled the country because of the pressure of the media and royal protocols, has no plans of ever stepping back in England.
Markle has made up her mind, and nothing on earth will make her change it. Prince Harry will have to accept that he will not be with his family for special occasions, and his children will be unable to create memories in the UK.
