King Charles III has found himself handling a complex and challenging situation within the Royal Family.
His Majesty inherited the throne after waiting more than 70 years. However, less than 12 months into his reign, a drama of epic proportion involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and his own health issues hit the Royal Family and the monarchy.
At the age of 75, The Sovereign was hospitalized for an enlarged prostate and underwent successful surgery.
Immediately after the hospitalizations, doctors discovered that King Charles has cancer. His Majesty lives by the motto “stay calm and carry on” no matter what storm may arise around him.
However, how much can one man take before he crumbles? King Charles endured the drama caused by Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and his health issues and forged ahead with his royal tour in Australia.
His Majesty was forced to make a difficult decision, stopping his cancer treatment to embark on a long and complicated trip that was riddled with drama because the royals are no longer welcome in certain countries.
The King has also decided to return to work at total capacity in 2025, which is problematic for his staff.
The Daily Mail reported: “Having skipped his cancer treatment regime to make the latest tour—and with no one certain how his body has coped—it was planned that he would take time off on his return, allowing him to recover and for doctors to carry out a full assessment of his wellbeing.”
The outlet shared: “[T] here’s concern among the King’s medical team after an anonymous palace briefing that he will return to a full program of overseas tours in 2025.”
Upon his return to England, His Majesty suffered another personal blow. King Charles’s wife, Queen Camilla, has fallen ill.
According to an official statement from Buckingham Palace, The Queen is suffering from a chest infection.
Queen Camilla canceled multiple engagements, including an appearance at the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall in London.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “Following doctors’ guidance to ensure a full recovery from a seasonal chest infection and to protect others from any potential risk, Her Majesty will not attend this weekend’s Remembrance events. While this is a source of great disappointment to The Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week.”
Some Royal Family members have no reprieve for the ill King and Queen of England. They dream of threatening them with scandals and leaks from other royal family members.
This week, King Charles’s fallen brother, Prince Andrew, has been celebrating and leaking the news of his big win to the media.
According to The Daily Mail and PEOPLE Magazine, Prince Andrew “has raised the money needed to live at the Royal Lodge after a lengthy battle with King Charles.
King Charles even cut Prince Andrew’s personal $1 million allowance, hoping he would be in a dire financial situation and exit the 30-room property.
The King has failed, via The Sunday Times, it was revealed that Prince Andrew, who palled around with Jeffrey Epstein, has convinced the Keeper of the Privy Purse, Sir Michael Stevens, that the money came from legitimate sources.
Prince Andrew insulted King Charles’s intelligence and wealth with a friend telling The Daily Beast: “We are thrilled for Andrew. Andrew has a cast iron lease on the property, so god knows why Charles chose to pick this battle. It’s hard to imagine anyone would have any interest in where Andrew is living if Charles’ aides had not spent the past year banging on about it. He was never going to just walk away from the property; the lease is a valuable asset he intends to leave to his children, and maybe William will be glad of having Eugenie or Beatrice there in years to come.”
Another pal told The Daily Beast: “Charles has everything. He is as rich as Croesus. Andrew is 64, and his house is basically all he has left, and it was wicked of the King to try and take it off him. Why? Who cares?”
