When His Majesty discovered he was battling cancer at the age of 75, it became urgent to reunite with his youngest child, a personal sacrifice he was willing to make.
However, Prince William stood his ground and blocked his father from reuniting with Prince Harry. The heir to the throne believes there is no room for a redo after the pain and mental discomfort that Prince Harry and Markle caused him and his wife, Kate Middleton.
The Daily Beast reports: “The Daily Beast has been told that Charles would like to reconcile with Harry but is being blocked from bringing him back into the family by William, who is implacably opposed to any such move. The elder son believes Harry’s betrayal of the family in his books and interviews, in which he accused a member of the family, later revealed to be Kate, of racism, has put him beyond the pale. William’s consent is needed because Charles, who is sick with cancer, feels he cannot bequeath his heir a settlement with Harry that William cannot live with.”
As Meghan Markle continuously makes it impossible for King Charles to spend time with his grandchildren because of her mental well-being and security issues, King Charles has decided to cut ties with the California royals gradually.
Accepting Queen Camilla‘s suggestion, King Charles has enacted a no-contact rule against Prince Harry and Markle to protect his peace of mind as he battles a serious illness.
What initially seemed problematic has turned out to be a positive development for the Royal Family.
