King Charles III has always been a realist as a high-ranking Royal Family member. As a Monarch, the 75-year-old continued pushing for ideas and goals that he believed were plausible.
However, His Majesty let emotions get the best of him briefly. No one could blame King Charles for wanting the best for his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
It is natural for a father to want to have strong bonds and relationships with his children and grandchildren.
However, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, made some shocking decisions, leading King Charles to a place he never thought he would have arrived at.
For the sake of the monarchy and his health, King Charles deemed there was no going back, even in the face of Markle’s unsolicited signals and efforts.
Speaking of unexpected signals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently attempted to provoke a reaction from King Charles with a video featuring the voices of their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilbet.
As the new year began, Markle, via her newly launched Instagram page, announced that her beloved dog, Guy, had died. The former actress accompanied the heartbreaking news with a montage of private videos that included of the children.
The montage featured a tender moment when little Archie held onto the dog’s leash. While in a car with Markle, Archie said, “He’s going to fall.”
Markle reassures her son that the dog is okay. Another poignant and emotional moment shows Lilibet having fun and playing with Guy while on a picnic blanket.
The heartwrenching montage ends with the two children singing a sweet song about their dog. Body language expert Judi James says the montage’s most poignant moments featuring the children must have moved King Charles.
She told the Mirror: “Like the ‘reality’ fan she has become, she has included some very intimate moments and glimpses of her life here, suggesting an equal easing off the privacy pedal when her new show finally drops. If the reveal of her love of Guy and of his life with the Sussex’s weren’t enough, there’s added poignancy in the glimpses here of Archie and Lilibet, which will presumably be devoured by both grandads as well as the fans.”
She went on to say: “We don’t see the children, but we do hear voices and see one small hand. This is possibly the most poignant moment for anyone craving the family vibe as it involves the kind of proximity and the view any relative might enjoy if they were part of the family group.”
Royal sources claimed King Charles would not restore contact with Prince Harry and Markle. Reporter Kate Mansey for The Times explained that Prince Harry’s legal actions against his government are a non-starter.
The journalist stated: “It places the King in a tricky position because Harry has been granted leave to appeal. Until the case is concluded, there is little Charles feels he can say to his son. As for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, there is no communication with the King and Queen.”
Prince Harry will return to London in the upcoming days without Markle to battle the British media in court. King Charles will not hold an audience with his son due to his health and busy schedule.
The actress can stop poking the bear because she will not get a reaction from the King.
