The publication revealed that Markle was asked to write a juicy book in which she spilled her guts about divorcing Prince Harry.
The outlet shared: “The Duchess of Sussex’s team had quietly held talks with an unnamed publishing house to gauge interest in the idea for the book.”
Friends of the couple explained that there is no truth to the story. A pal told the media outlet: “No offer was ever made, and no manuscript was produced. After all, there was no divorce.”
Another source, who has worked closely with the couple, told Page Six they are obsessed with each other because they are narcissistic.
The person continued: “Meghan and Harry know that they are tied together. Their value is in being a couple—even if they wanted to split, they couldn’t. And honestly, they are obsessed with each other. They are just two narcissists.”
Via Express, an insider close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stated that the divorce report has deeply hurt them.
The source added: “Meghan knows that the rumors always make their fans worry about a split, and she doesn’t like that sort of negativity being spread. Meghan was devastated when she saw all of these reports about a post-divorce book coming out. She knows there’s no truth to them, and it’s just upsetting for her to constantly have this negativity around them. She’s getting sick and tired of all the split rumors. Everywhere she looks and reads, there is something about her and Harry breaking up.”
It has now been confirmed that they will take on the rumors head-on by dramatically shifting their strategy.
While they enjoy their internet as individuals, they have reached a compromise to counter the divorce rumors better: No more solo projects and appearances.
To end the divorce rumors, they will now be seen together holding hands, sharing hugs and kisses.
A source told Express that Markle and her prince will put their love on full display starting with their trip to Canada.
The royal insider shared more details about the couple’s new path to quiet the rumors: “There will be a renewed focus on the Sussexes as a couple, as a brand, and showcasing them as a couple and family. The Sussexes have decided to step back a little and let Ashley take the reins on their PR plan.”
