King Charles III has decided that the Sussex couple would not have a shred of honor or respect left after he is done with them.
For the past five years, reliable sources have revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have long desired to spend the summer holidays at Balmoral Castle in Scotland alongside King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family.
PEOPLE shared: “For years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not been invited to the royal family’s summer gathering in the Scottish Highlands, sources tell PEOPLE. King Charles is continuing Queen Elizabeth‘s tradition of heading to the Balmoral estate during the late summer, but the monarch hasn’t included Harry and his family this year. While Prince Harry grew up going to Balmoral, it’s believed that Meghan has never visited the royal family’s Scottish castle.”
Balmoral contains Prince Harry’s childhood memories, and he wants his two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to have the same joyful experiences.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties, King Charles considered inviting the family to spend holidays in the castle.
However, in 2024, the year both King Charles and Kate Middleton suffered severe health-related setbacks due to cancer, His Majesty stopped toying with the idea.
King Charles made it unequivocally clear that Prince Harry and his family, including his two young children, would not be welcomed in any royal palace for summer break or Christmas holidays.
This week, King Charles added pain to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s humiliating situation by asking President Donald Trump to join him at Balmoral.
Trump is eager to visit the UK to solidify the relationship between the two superpowers. Sir Keir Starmer, the prime minister of the United Kingdom, traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with Trump this week to meet with President Trump.
Starmer hand-delivered King Charles’s invitation to Trump. The Guardian revealed: “King Charles has invited Donald Trump to make an unprecedented second state visit to the UK in a letter handed to the US president by Keir Starmer. Queen Elizabeth II hosted Trump on a state visit in 2019. ”
The outlet shared: “Trump received the invitation during a meeting at the White House on Thursday, with Starmer presenting the letter from the king. In the letter, which Trump showed to the cameras in the Oval Office, Charles suggested he and Trump could meet beforehand at Dumfries House or Balmoral, which are near Trump’s golf courses in Scotland, to discuss the plans for the much grander visit.”
The letter, partially obscured by Trump’s hand, read in part: “I can only say that it would be … pleasure to extend that invitation once again, in the hope that you … some stage be visiting Turnberry and a detour to a relatively near neighbor might not cause you too much inconvenience. An alternative might perhaps be for you to visit Balmoral. There is much on both estates which I think you might find interesting and enjoy – particularly as my foundation at Dumfries House provides hospitality skills training for young people who often end up as staff on your own establishments!”
The letter continued: “Quite apart from this presenting an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, it would also offer a valuable chance to plan a historic second state visit to the United Kingdom. As you will know, this is unprecedented for a US President. That is why I would find it helpful for us to discuss a range of options for location and program content together. In doing so, working together, I know we will further enhance the special relationship between our two countries of which we are both so proud.”
His Majesty hand-signed the letter: “Yours Most Sincerely, Charles.”
During Trump’s meeting with Starmer in the Oval Office, the president said of the UK: “It’s a very special place and [Starmer is] a special man – and the United Kingdom is a wonderful country that I know very well; I’m there a lot. I’ll be going there, and we expect to see each other in the near future – we’ll be announcing it.”
A White House insider claimed: “He’s already been to Windsor and Buckingham Palace, so Balmoral is being discussed. Everyone knows he loves Scotland, and it’s near his golf course.”
Trump’s impending visit to Balmoral can only seem like a major slap to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two young children, Archie and Lilbet.
Trump will dine, sleep in, and enjoy Prince Harry’s childhood place while his administration actively works to deport the royal renegade.
Donald Trump’s administration members have confirmed to the Daily Mail that the prime minister will return to England with Trump’s invitation to Kate Middleton and Prince William for a state dinner in the White House.
