Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have decided to continue practicing the code of silence and dignity, a long-standing tradition in the Royal Family that involves not publicly addressing controversies, despite the many scandals and attacks against the Royal Family.
However, their former top aide does not have to adhere to the same protocols. Jason Knauf — who held a close and significant post in the British monarchy worked alongside Prince William and Prince Harry and their respective wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle — stepped down after an enormous scandal.
Knauf is the man who blew the lid wide open on the Markle bullying investigation. The investigation led to a massive and humiliating dossier on Markle, which detailed numerous instances of alleged bullying and mistreatment of staff members.
The secret documents contained testimonies from staff members who bravely revealed the horrors they lived during Markle’s mean boss era.
Some claim Markle bullied them; others said she contributed to many epic meltdowns, referring to instances where they were allegedly pushed to their emotional limits and had private breakdowns, and resigned.
In an explosive interview with 60 Minutes, Knauf revealed that Markle had what was coming to her. He reiterated that the former actress did indeed participate in all the horrible things he and other staff members accused her of.
Knauf said he has zero regrets and made it clear that all he revealed about Markle was brutally accurate. Talking to 60 Minutes, the former royal staff member stated: “I wouldn’t change anything. I think it’s tough, but it’s probably quite good.”
He went on to share: “You know, as someone who has been helping other people through how to deal with the public eye, you probably have to take your own medicine sometimes.”
In a dossier leaked online in 2021, Knauf wrote that Meghan Markle was a bully who often behaved unacceptably towards her staff.
He stated in his bombshell report: “I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable. The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behavior towards Y.”
Several other former staff members have since come forward to slam Markle for being condescending and unappreciative of their work.
Prince Harry was not spared by the people who worked for him, with many claiming he was an enabler and letting Markle create a toxic workplace environment.
These revelations have sparked a public debate, with many questioning Markle’s true nature as she plays a wholesome and caring homemaker on Netflix in her new series.
