Meghan Markle and her spouse, Prince Harry, stepped down from their royal duties five years ago. What ensued was a whirlwind of drama, scandals, and chaos, captivating the public’s attention.
Reports claimed that the Royal Family, particularly King Charles III, tried to convince Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to stay.
However, against the odds, the pair decided that their freedom was more important. They found controversial ways to be financially independent, including selling a memoir and bombshell interviews and series, a move that sparked further controversy.
They eventually built a stable life in America without any aid or support from the Royal Family. Following a series of shocking revelations and accusations from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Royal Family was left reeling.
King Charles and the other royals, beyond a doubt, have certainly moved on. Despite the setbacks, the health issues of King Charles and Kate Middleton, the monarchy is doing what it has always done — keeping calm and carrying on.
However, that has not stopped critics from lashing out at King Charles for not begging Prince Harry and the former actress to return to the royal fold.
Taking to social media, actress Narinder Kaur, 52, slammed and ridiculed King Charles for not doing more to embrace one of the Royal Family’s best assets: a biracial woman.
Kaur explained that His Majesty would regret letting Markle go because, whether he wanted to admit it or not, it would have consequences for the future of the royal institution.
The star insisted that Markle, whose mother is African American, could have played an important role in helping England have that important conversation about slavery and colonists.
She wrote on X: “I would go as far as saying the longevity and life of the RF depends on bringing Harry and Meghan back. The younger generation will not accept a bi racial woman being thrown to the lions ON TOP Of a RF already accused of colonial wrongs.”
Royalists are fighting back, claiming that the monarchy’s continued survival is likely with Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three young children.
Some observers say that it might be time to move on for good because the rebellious royals have settled in California and are trying to find success.
The Royal Family is not showing any sign that forgiveness is still on the table. The Monarch might have even turned the page on his grandchildren — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
