King Charles III‘s sudden hospitalization this week, a result of the side effects of his rigorous cancer treatment, has caught the world off guard and sparked widespread concern.
It has come to light that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are estranged from King Charles due to numerous revelations and accusations, were not informed about the hospitalization by the Royal Family or staff members.
The news was made public via a statement from Buckingham Palace, leaving the couple feeling excluded and disregarded.
The news of King Charles’s hospitalization has left Prince Harry in a state of shock. Despite this, he has made the difficult decision to remain in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
While concerned about King Charles’s well-being, Prince Harry will not drop everything and fly to be with his sick father.
The Daily Mail confirmed: “It is believed the palace chose not to contact Harry about his father’s hospital admission so as not to alarm him 5,000 miles away. King Charles was forced to cancel a string of engagements on Thursday after he was admitted to hospital amid his ongoing cancer care.”
When King Charles first announced that he was diagnosed with cancer, Prince Harry rushed to be by his side, and the 30-minute meeting did not start or end well.
Prince Harry’s tardiness at the meeting left King Charles fuming, and Queen Camilla was also upset that the man who called her vile and evil was present in her home.
Prince Harry also infuriated King Charles by talking to the media about the private and brief meeting with his cancer-stricken father.
Out of respect for King Charles and his desire to be at peace as he battles the illness, Prince Harry will stay far and pray for the best.
The Mail noted: “His Majesty is, for the foreseeable future, a person ‘living with cancer.’ He is receiving regular – mainly weekly – treatment to ensure that his battle has the ‘best possible outcome,’ although his medical team is able to comfortably pause it as they did when he traveled to Australia and Samoa last year.”
It would have been difficult for Prince Harry to see King Charles, who has retreated to his Highgrove mansion for some much-needed rest.
Via the Mail, it has also been revealed that Prince Harry has put himself in a tough spot as he watches miles away as his only living parent deal with the horrible diseases.
A source close to Prince Harry said that he misses his family and added: “First, he was a spare to William, but now he’s increasingly looking like a spare to Meghan — and it’s not a great look.”
Another continued: “He misses his family terribly, but no one is speaking to him anymore. He just wants to go for a beer with the guys, but his only friends are just the husbands of Meghan’s friends.”
Prince Harry and his father are not making much progress.
