After their latest controversial and in-your-face move, King Charles III has decided to draw a line in the sand for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Surprisingly, Kate Middleton has, in her way, stepped in to support His Majesty in this royal rift.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have a way of surprising the Royal Family with their actions. Case in point: a private dinner with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz.
As the tabloids were burning up with stories about David Beckham‘s drama-filled birthday because of the tension with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Prince Harry and Markle met and dined with the young couple.
PEOPLE confirms that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently joined Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz at a dinner party in Montecito, California.
A source told PEOPLE: “Brooklyn and Nicola were invited prior to David’s numerous global birthday galas, so the timing is pure coincidence. While it was an intimate gathering, there were several additional guests, including VIPs and film executives. Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring, and generous.”
The dinner between the Sussex couple, Brooklyn, and the billionaire heiress comes amid the Beckham family feud.
It has been confirmed that Brooklyn Beckham skipped both David and Victoria‘s star-studded birthday bashes.
The young couple is no longer communicating with the Beckham family. An insider told Page Six: “Victoria and David haven’t called, texted, or messaged Brooklyn directly since the birthday party. Intense tension is rooted in control and different plans for Brooklyn’s future. Nicola comes from a powerful family.”
A source further revealed to PEOPLE about the family squabble: “There are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family. The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life.”
Amid the Beckham friction, King Charles has decided to give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle several brutal slaps.
This week, His Majesty and his wife, Queen Camilla, appeared at the Chelsea Flower Show in London with the soccer legend.
During the appearance, David Beckham confirmed that he received a splendid birthday gift from King Charles for his milestone birthday gift.
According to the Daily Mail. “Your Majesty, it’s so nice to see you,” Beckham told the King during a friendly reunion at the Highgrove shop stand. “You got it, didn’t you?” the King asked about a birthday gift he’d sent. “It was incredible,” Beckham said. “Thank you, it was very kind.”
Meanwhile, King Charles has declined to call Prince Harry, Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for their birthdays. However, there is more.
It has now been revealed that King Charles dealt Prince Harry an even bigger blow by refusing to see him when he traveled to London around the same time last year, reportedly due to the ongoing tensions within the Royal Family.
However, His Majesty made time in his busy schedule to see David Beckham. The Mail revealed: “King Charles met David Beckham to discuss his charitable foundation while Prince Harry was in the country. The Duke had said that his father was too busy attending to ‘various other priorities’ to see him while he was in Britain.”
Middleton has also taken a step against Prince Harry and Markle. Last week, Princess Kate wore a tailored suit designed by Victoria Beckham to a British Fashion Council event in London to confirm which side she is backing.
