Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, recently shared a head-scratching story via PEOPLE Magazine and The Guardian.
Prince William was quick to make them regret that decision. It was confirmed that Markle and her spouse were engaged in a dispute with British authorities, which began after they filed new applications requesting new passports for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Prince Harry fought tooth and nail with the government to obtain the titles’ HRH or His/Her Royal Highness updates on the documents, in case Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet wanted to become working royals one day.
The insider stated: “Prince Harry wants to keep the HRH titles for his children so that when they grow older, they can decide for themselves whether they want to become working royals or stay out of public life.”
Prince William caught wind of Prince Harry and Markle’s plan and has come out forcefully against it.
A close friend of the future King of the UK made it clear that he would never allow Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to be working royals.
There were no circumstances during his reign in which his nephew and niece joined the ranks of the monarchy.
The Daily Beast stated that Prince William could not help but laugh at how delusional Prince Harry and Markle could be and added: “William obviously isn’t going to hire Archie and Lilibet. This is just trolling on the part of Harry and Meghan. It’s actually hilarious that no one even noticed it for ten days until the Mail did it.”
The insider shared: “The idea that somehow having a vestigial HRH as a baby later entitles you to be a working royal is beyond parody, even for them.
Prince William is astonished that Prince Harry and his wife have gone against the agreement they signed with the Queen and the institution, which clearly stated that they no longer had the right to use their titles.
Prince William also hit back at Markle’s decision to use her title. The Prince of Wales wants his estranged sister-in-law to know that she has another thing coming if she believes her children will have access to any of the privileges that come with being a member of the Royal Family.
The insider said: “The Queen asked Harry and Meghan to stop using their HRH titles, and they agreed. Obviously, any reasonable person would understand that would mean your kids don’t use them either. The simple fact is that Meghan has gone back on the deal by using her HRH. It’s a straightforward betrayal of the agreement, and if she now intends to start parading the kids as HRHs to aggrandize herself, it just adds to the case to remove them, legally, altogether.”
Another friend of the Royal Family also told The Daily Beast that when Prince William takes the throne without hesitation, he will issue the letters of patent to remove Prince Harry, Markle, and their children’s titles once and for all.
The second friend said: “An HRH is a funny thing. It’s often referred to as a title, but it’s actually technically a ‘style,’ i.e., a way of addressing someone. It’s a courtesy. It denotes no official role and bestows no formal rank in the British system, unlike being a duke or duchess.”
The person went into great detail about how Prince William will accomplish his mission: “An HRH is bestowed by letters patent—which is basically a fancy way of saying it is a legally binding royal decree—and by precedent, an HRH can be taken away by royal decree also. They have asked the Sussexes politely to stop using the style, to no avail, so I imagine William will simply issue a new patent to formally remove the entire family’s right to use HRH when he becomes king.”
The insider concluded by saying that Prince William despises Prince Harry and Markle and will hurt them in every way King Charles III could not.
The friend stated: “Charles may not want this fight, but William despises Harry and Meghan at this stage, and when he is king, his fury will rain down on them.”
The Sussexes are reeling from this decision because they had hoped to give their children the option of being working royals despite the numerous revelations and accusations.
