Meghan Markle And Husband Prince Harry Reeling As Their Stunning Multimillion-Dollar Deal Gets Wild

Meghan Markle and her husband have made their beds with a streaming giant, and they are now having a stressful time lying in bed.

When Prince Harry and Markle decided to step down from their royal duties, they understood their top priority was to be financially independent by any means.

Prince Harry cashed in with Spare, a tell-all memoir that broke all records. The Sussexes also secured several other major deals that did not pan out as they had hoped.

However, they are still going strong with the streaming giant Netflix. Markle has built a brand and is determined to turn it into an empire with the help of Netflix.

Her show, With Love, Meghan, and her company, As Ever, are both successes thanks to her collaboration with the streaming giant.

Whether Markle and Prince Harry would like to admit it or not, their financial stability is tied to Netflix, and guess what? Netflix has taken full advantage of the Sussexes’ complex situation.

According to Yahoo and Radar, the company is pushing for them to share even more of their intimate and often dramatic and chaotic story with viewers.

A source claimed: “The negotiation table couldn’t look more different to 2020 when they had Oprah Winfrey, Spotify, and Netflix all over them. Netflix isn’t mucking around this time. They know Harry and Meghan need them more than the other way around, so how good this deal is depends on how far they’re willing to go when it comes to sharing their story.”

According to the insider, Netflix wants to be the first to land an interview with Markle if the marriage fails. While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have insisted that their romance is on solid ground, many have pointed to the possibility that the pressure to keep up with their luxurious lifestyle, the headbutting over how to handle the drama with the royals and Markle’s permanent decision to never return to her husband’s home country with their children could lead to friction.

The person stated: “Everyone can see, with the stress of everything, that cracks are starting to show, and it’s only fair that Netflix gets first dibs on an interview if they do eventually divorce. They know Harry and Meghan are under pressure, and all the cards are on the table – from a divorce chat being locked in, in advance, to introducing their kids to the world.”

Prince Harry and Markle are in a tough spot because they will not be getting the sweet and no-question-asked deal they scored in 2020.

This time around, Netflix has demands and wants them to show proof that they can deliver big ratings and even bigger headlines with their content.

The insider shared: “Their 2020 deal was an ‘overhead agreement,’ so while it might have looked huge, it didn’t cover staff or production. They only get paid on what they produce, and let’s face it, a lot of projects haven’t come to fruition.”

The person in the know went on to claim that the Sussexes want to earn money to support their family and pay for security, but they are having a tough time adjusting to the harsh conditions.

The source revealed: “Harry and Meghan need this deal for relevance, but at what cost? Neither of them wants to sign any deal that has a divorce clause in it – and these conversations have not been easy, to say the least. It’s not just about money. It’s about control. And it’s easy to see why Netflix would want dibs on Harry and Meghan’s next chapter, whether it includes a divorce or not.”

The power couple has some thinking to do.
