King Charles III might have always known something about Prince Harry that the world did not.
After selling millions of copies of his bombshell memoir Spare and rocketing Netflix ratings with his explosive revelations, interviews, and accusations, Prince Harry — and to some degree, Meghan Markle — have suddenly declared their desire for peace and even reconciliation with King Charles, Kate Middleton, and Prince William.
Both men have firmly shut down any possibility of the reconciliation Prince Harry was pleading for.
Prince William has completely disowned Prince Harry, wanting no contact now or ever.
He clarified that drastic position by revealing that the Sussex couple would not be invited to his coronation.
While King Charles briefly entertained the notion of a connection with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex‘s decision to leak details of a private meeting during the King‘s cancer diagnosis prompted His Majesty to sever all contact immediately.
According to PEOPLE and the Daily Mail, King Charles has refused to answer Prince Harry’s phone calls, emails, and text messages.
His Majesty prefers to keep his son at arm’s length to safeguard his private life and physical and mental well-being.
Additionally, both King and Queen Camilla struggle with deep-seated trust issues concerning the former soldier, which have been exacerbated by Prince Harry’s public statements and actions.
It is understood that King Charles took the ultimate break from his youngest son because he has a better and more profound understanding of Prince Harry’s intentions and motivations.
Case in point, the recent shocking revelation that Prince Harry has decided to change his last name to Spencer, his mother’s maiden name, a move that symbolizes his desire to distance himself from the Royal Family.
The Mail and the Guardian revealed the shocking news that Prince Harry recently explored the idea of using Spencer’s last name.
Prince Harry’s uncle, the Earl Spencer, advised him against it because it would cause a major scandal.
According to the media outlets, Prince Harry considered that stunning change due to his “desire for further distance from the monarchy and exasperation over delays in obtaining British passports for his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Prince Harry’s move confirms what King Charles knew all along—Prince Harry’s media statements about burying the hatchet were empty and insincere.
How can Prince Harry appear on the BBC and claim that he wants to repair the damaged relationships with his family while adding more drama to his decision to drop his surname?
Former Sun royal Correspondent Charles Rae explained: “It was less than a month ago that he was pleading for a reconciliation with his father and brother.”
Hinting at the Royal Family’s vindication, the journalist added: “And the next thing we hear, and I think the story was well sourced, he wants to change the name from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer. Well, that is sending a terrible message to the royal family that he doesn’t really want a reconciliation.”
Making his complete estrangement from Prince Harry brutally clear, King Charles has hinted at no plans to see his son during his lifetime, opting instead for arrangements for Prince Harry, Markle, and their children to play center roles at his funeral.
