The past few years might have been the most challenging and heartbreaking period of King Charles III‘s life. He has been dealing with the loss of his parents, his sudden health issues, and mourning the relationship he once had with his youngest son, Prince Harry.
The months have turned into years since Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down from their royal duties.
The revelations and accusations have escalated—from claims that King Charles is an absent father, to assertions that the monarchy is built on slavery, to naming royals who allegedly made racist or biased comments about an unborn baby.
All of this forced King Charles to accept that there was no going back regarding the Sussexes, even though it sadly implies that there will be a lack of interaction with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
King Charles confirmed that his relationship with Prince Harry had degraded to an unprecedented level.
His Majesty delivered a devastating blow that surpasses all previous snubs or rejections — the King has deemed Prince Harry completely irrelevant.
King Charles delivered an emotional speech at the State Banquet at Windsor Castle, which was held in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron.
Standing before more than 150 distinguished guests, including Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton, King Charles praised Prince William.
The Sovereign stated: “The Castle in which we meet this evening was begun by my ancestor — and your sometime countryman — William, Duke of Normandy, in the year 1070. It remains the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.”
King Charles added: “So it is perhaps rather appropriate that my son, the Prince of Wales, who shares that earlier William’s name, has made Windsor his home with his family, like so many of our predecessors.”
King Charles’s latest change of direction all but confirms his devastating new approach to Prince Harry and Markle: complete avoidance, a treatment far worse than any previous snub.
The Sussexes now only have one path forward — they have to find a way to make it big in in the entertainment industry.
There is no going back in the cards for them. This may be a painful conclusion for Prince Harry, but Markle seems more than open to the challenge. She has been busy launching new business ventures in recent months, and some of them are showing promising signs.
