Like the rest of the world, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have heard Prince William‘s clear and blunt response regarding their first significant attempt at reconciliation.
Almost immediately after reports surfaced claiming that Prince Harry and King Charles III had orchestrated a staff meeting to pave the way for détente, Prince William reacted. His message, delivered via close friends and associates, was unmistakable.
There was no beating around the bush — Prince William was stunned by the meeting. He was unaware of the peace talk “brunch” and does not support it.
The heir to the throne has been grappling with “Prince Harry and Markle fatigue,” exhausted by their relentless interviews, revelations, and accusations.
He has seen this movie before and has no intention of watching it again. Sources close to Prince William told the Daily Mail and the Daily Beast he will reconcile with the Sussex couple “when hell freezes over.”
Aware of Prince William’s frustration and anger, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are determined to make him an offer he cannot refuse, hoping to change his stance and return to his good side.
Prince Harry and his wife have made it clear, via the Daily Mail, that they have no plans to feud with Prince William regarding their return to the royal fold.
According to an insider who spoke to the media outlet, Prince William can sleep well at night with the confirmation that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only desire peace and want to reconnect with the family — they do not plan to seek the royal spotlight or money.
Additionally, a source close to the couple told the Mail: “They’re [Harry and Meghan] very happy living in and raising their family in California and, as it stands, have no plans to leave.”
The same source went on to share: “Everyone just wants to move on and move forward now. It was finally the right time for the two sides to talk.”
Given these developments, Prince William could view his brother’s proposal in two ways. He might place him on some kind of probationary period, eventually deciding if he can trust him again.
Alternatively, he could proceed with his current plans, acting as if Prince Harry does not exist, and maintain his decision to ban Markle and their children from his coronation and all other future family or state events.
In the meantime, the Sussex couple is staying busy with their different ventures.
