Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have been making waves in recent weeks with a series of decisions regarding the Royal Family.

For the first time in five years, the Sussex couple and King Charles III have agreed to at least discuss a potential détente.

The Mail and PEOPLE Magazine confirmed that staff members for both parties met in London, and plans are shaping up for a reconciliation. Sources also explained that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hope to convince Prince William and Kate Middleton to join the long-awaited peace process.

Prince Harry and his wife have taken matters to another level to convince King Charles, his wife Queen Camilla, Princess Kate and the heir that they are ready to meet face-to-face.

However, in a surprise twist, Prince Harry extends a hand of friendship or even an apology to his stepmother, Queen Camilla, after calling her evil and the other woman in his book, Spare.

Prince Harry has shown good faith by extending an unexpected olive branch to King Charles and Prince William.

According to The Mail, the author will now share his official diary engagements with the Royal Family “in a bid to further reduce tensions between him and his father and brother.”

Prince Harry no longer wants to dominate the headlines when other members of the Royal Family have major events or milestones.

The most recent media clash occurred last week when Prince Harry’s visit to Angola overshadowed coverage of Queen Camilla’s 78th birthday portrait on the front pages earlier this month.

According to The Mail: “Images of the duke retracing his late mother’s footsteps through a minefield – accompanied by throwback pictures of Princess Diana in the same location 28 years ago – dominated almost every UK newspaper.”

Following this incident, Prince Harry now feels remorseful that he ruined Queen Camilla’s special day in the spotlight and wants to rectify the situation.

A royal source told The Mail: “Before that meeting between their aides in London, conflicts of interest or clashes of publicity were relished and even perhaps encouraged by the Sussexes. Now, Harry has shifted into a new way of thinking. The tone is now all about ‘deconflicting’ with his family. That’s why his household agreed to draw up a ‘grid’ of his activities and share them with Buckingham Palace, and by extension with Kensington Palace. Harry still doesn’t like being controlled by the Royal machinery, which won’t change. However, if the Royal Family has full sight of his movements, they can at least plan accordingly. It’s a significant gesture.”

Many are applauding Prince Harry for the gesture.
