Prince William is letting his younger brother, Prince Harry, know he is on a fool’s errand with his latest decision.
The Duke of Sussex is set to travel to England in the fall. Like previous years, Prince Harry’s trip will center around a WellChild charity event—a cause that has been dear to his heart for more than two decades.
During the visit, Prince Harry will take part in other charitable events and promote the upcoming Invictus Games, which are expected to return to the UK in 2027 in Birmingham.
However, this visit to his native country is different because in the past two weeks, Prince Harry took two significant steps that confirmed that hell has frozen over: he is ready to reconcile with the Royal Family.
Prince Harry’s staff and King Charles III‘s aides sat down for a private meeting and discussed, for the first time in five years, a path towards the great royal rapprochement. To achieve détente, Prince Harry made the first step of sharing his calendar with King Charles and Prince William.
While in the UK in September, Prince Harry is hoping the release of his schedule will facilitate a face-to-face meeting with King Charles. His Majesty will be in the nation’s capital in the fall for his cancer treatments.
However, other details regarding Prince Harry’s return to the UK will irk Prince William. Via Yahoo, it has been revealed that Prince Harry will not try to see Prince William because he has prioritized his ailing father.
Entertainment reporter Rob Shuter revealed via Yahoo: “Prince Harry and Prince William’s paths won’t cross during his upcoming London visit. A source revealed that not all royal family members will be coming face to face during the reported meeting. Harry has apparently made it clear that his forthcoming trip back home will be all about his father. He has no intention of sitting down with William.”
Prince William had previously made it clear that Prince Harry was misplacing his energy and devotion, thinking he had an ounce of interest in meeting with him.
When King Charles and Prince Harry’s staff met, Prince William had no involvement in the matter. Close friends, who spoke to the Daily Beast, reported that the heir was furious and believed his father was investing in a lost cause.
About the upcoming meeting between His Majesty and Prince Harry, Prince William still believes it is a bridge to nowhere for his father.
