Meghan Markle is reportedly viewing the possibility of Prince Harry‘s reunion with his father, King Charles III, from a very different and potentially heartbreaking perspective.
In late July, both Prince Harry and King Charles made their feelings about a possible reconciliation known, signaling that they are ready to patch things up and reconnect.
Prince Harry’s staff met with King Charles’s aides in what has been described as the complete opposite of the historic Sandringham Summit.
This was followed by Prince Harry reaching out to both King Charles and Prince William, graciously offering them complete access to his calendar. He made this move because he no longer wants to overshadow the royals’ engagements or major public events.
While things appear to be smoothing out between Prince Harry and King Charles as they slowly begin to rebuild their relationship after five years of conflict, revelations, and accusations, reports suggest that Meghan Markle fears her own exclusion from the reconciliation process may slow down the rapprochement.
For Meghan Markle, feelings of being left out or pushed aside during her time as a working member of the Royal Family reportedly resurface now as she worries that Harry‘s renewed relationship with his father might further isolate her.
According to a royal source cited by The Blast and Yahoo, Meghan is fearful that Prince Harry will be completely pulled back into the Palace, leaving her standing in the rain outside the gate.
The insider stated: “She firmly believes the royals are scheming to drive a wedge between her and Harry.”
Sources claim that Meghan Markle is particularly worried about the rapid pace of the reconciliation. She is reportedly concerned that her husband, in his haste to follow his heart on this “journey back home,” may not always have the time or wisdom to consult her.
The insider shared: “Meghan knows it’s wise for them to rebuild ties with the royals, but the pace of it all has left her rattled. She feels like things are slipping out of her hands, especially now that Harry’s calling the shots without checking in with her the way he once did.”
Talking more about Markle’s thoughts and feelings on the matter, the source claimed: “She’s afraid the royals are trying to win Harry back while sidelining her in the process. She’s made it clear to him that he has to respect their partnership and not shut her out of these decisions.”
