Meghan Markle faced the snub seen and heard around the world this week, and now the reasons why are becoming clearer.
The former actress celebrated her 44th birthday on August 4, and, as in previous years, the entire Royal Family chose to ignore the event.
However, many were hopeful that this year would be different because of the efforts Prince Harry has been making to reconcile.
The Duke of Sussex had his team meet with King Charles III‘s aides to discuss the first steps of a détente.
He has demonstrated his willingness to shed his image as a “whistleblower” by no longer publicly discussing the royals or the alleged sins he believes they committed.
Prince Harry has also taken measures to avoid overshadowing King Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla.
All these moves were intended to pave the way for a birthday message from King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. However, the royal clan declined to mark the day. There were no private gestures and no public messages on social media, and there is a simple reason why.
Sources close to King Charles and the rest of the family explain that while they are willing to make inroads with Prince Harry, they have ruled out reconciliation with Markle.
A royal insider told Express via The New York Post that the reason for Meghan Markle’s exclusion is the family’s belief she is untrustworthy. This distrust has significant implications, as Prince Harry might face the Royal Family alone.
The outlet revealed: “In the meantime, another insider informed me that there’s no hope for Harry to mend fences with the Royal Family as long as Meghan is in the picture.”They just don’t trust her,” the source revealed. However, this doesn’t imply that the family feud will continue indefinitely, but any family gatherings would likely be solo affairs. Meghan, I’m told, wouldn’t be welcome.”
Prince Harry earned millions from Spare, but sources explain that the family is fearful that Meghan Markle will reveal secrets on her cooking show or elsewhere.
The person in the know stated: “The family worries that any conversation with Meghan could become fodder for her various projects, whether that’s her Instagram account, cooking show, podcast, or media interviews.”
The royal insider reiterated that Markle will not be part of the reconciliation package and added: “Whether Harry manages to repair his relationship with his father, who remains under ongoing cancer treatment, remains to be seen. But one thing seems certain: Meghan won’t be involved in any reconciliation efforts.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have inadvertently made her exclusion from the Royal Family easier, based on her refusal to travel to London with her children in the past three years, citing security issues.
The source concluded by: “Conveniently for the family, the Duke has already provided the perfect excuse, claiming it’s unsafe for his wife or children to visit the UK. As for Meghan, there’s no affection remaining, and she’ll be perfectly content to remain in their Montecito retreat.”
Other reports suggest that Prince Harry, a man in love, will push for his family to accept Markle once more.
Additionally, there is little doubt that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will be meeting their grandfather without their mother.
