Both sides confirmed a meeting in London and began mapping out a possible reconciliation. Harry also shared his schedule to help coordinate with his father. As the meeting nears, Prince Harry has added a new request.
According to sources, Harry wants the King to acknowledge past actions involving his wife before reconciling, and he insists Meghan must be treated with dignity, demanding formal respect from family members.

Prince Harry has also requested that King Charles provide security arrangements to ensure his safety and comfort during his stay in the UK.
Via Yahoo and The Blast, a source claimed, “Harry doesn’t want another trip where he feels unprotected and exposed. He wants iron-clad guarantees—not vague promises. Security and privacy are non-negotiable.”
Some believe Prince Harry may recognize that these unconventional requests might not be met, raising questions about his intentions regarding the meeting with his father.
A Battle She Never Asked For
Prince Harry may be prioritizing reconciliation with his family on Meghan Markle’s behalf, highlighting a possible disconnect in their priorities. While Harry views respect and security for Meghan as essential for any future relations, Meghan seems content to distance herself and move forward, creating tension between their approaches.

BBC’s former royal journalist Jennie Bond explained: “It wo ld be natural for her to feel somewhat threatened by her husband being drawn back into the royal circle. So, I think she would have conflicting emotions about Harry meeting his father, if this is indeed on the cards.I’m sure, though, that they would have discussed it, and that Harry would not go ahead if he did not have his wife’s support.”
Backers of the royals and the Sussexes appear to agree that Prince Harry should follow his wife’s example and move on; there is no need to revisit the past, as his requests are unlikely to be accepted by His Majesty, and he could unintentionally start a new disagreement with his supportive spouse, who now avoids discussion of the royals.
