Prince William has reportedly been left very impressed by the unexpected way King Charles III has solved the “problem” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This month, the unthinkable happened: King Charles managed to handle the most pressing issue of his monarchy — a “hot potato” that William himself expected to inherit when he one day takes the throne.
In a move some see as clever and others as cold, King Charles has effectively pushed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, away for good.
The 55-Minute “Medical” Dismissal
According to royal author Robert Jobson, Prince Harry was “royally and expeditiously” kicked out of a meeting with King Charles over the summer. Like the rest of the world, Harry expected the long-awaited face-to-face at Clarence House to last hours; instead, it lasted a mere 55 minutes.
King Charles reportedly cut the meeting short, telling Prince Harry he had a “scheduled medical appointment” and had to leave quickly. However, bombshell reports have since suggested the “medical procedure” was a strategic excuse to end the tense encounter. As one source noted: “The palace actually made up a medical procedure to wind up King Charles’ meeting with Prince Harry.”
A Message Of Radio Silence
Since that brief meetup, there has been nothing but radio silence. King Charles knew exactly what he was doing; the surgical move left Harry and Meghan feeling hurt and uncomfortable. They have finally understood the unspoken message: they are not wanted, not liked, and will not be forgiven for the tell-all book, the explosive interviews, and the Netflix documentaries.
Prince Harry has not only received the message that he is not wanted, but has finally accepted that he is focused on his family, his out-of-the-box businesses, and building a legacy around philanthropy with his two children.
There are some words Prince Harry said this year that he now regrets and will not repeat after learning his father’s true feelings about him.
Talking to the BBC earlier this year, Prince Harry said: “I never asked him to intervene. I asked him to step aside and let the experts do their jobs. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
He added: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore; life is precious.”
Prince William’s Grateful Christmas
King Charles has meticulously ended any hopes Harry had for a reconciliation. This Christmas, Prince William is extremely grateful for many things — including the continued health improvements of Princess Catherine — but he can now add extra appreciation for his father’s stunning move to end the long-standing Sussex drama.
