A woman named Sierra Dawn Measelle wanted to go viral, and Selina Cairel made sure her wish came true.
Cairel recently had a racist and bizarre encounter with Measelle, a stripper with a criminal past, while in the parking lot of a doughnut shop in Portland, Oregon.
Cairel, who is an Asian-American woman, shared a brief video where Measelle can be seen sitting in her car.
The sex worker turned to her friend and said the following while using a fake accent: “She’s Asian, she can’t see, and that’s why she can’t drive.”
Measelle, who appeared drunk, went on an epic, ignorant, and xenophobic rant about the Asian woman.
She said: “Before you say anything you should make sure you’re actually legal. And then you can call the cops and let them know.”
Cairel asked: “About what?” Measelle gave the following nonsensical answer: “That you’re illegals crossing the border and your parents probably had to work for fuckin’ dirt just to get here.”
Please note that it is not possible to drive nor walk from Asia to the United States. On a Facebook page, Cairel said she was leaving the Voodoo Doughnut shop when the incident occurred.
Cairel also revealed the woman took her phone out and started filming her and said “this should go on Instagram,” and she also decided to record the exchange.
Cairel explained that she tried in vain to talk some sense into the woman.
She wrote: “I normally don’t share anything on here, but I’m distraught. I had a terrible encounter with a girl who was saying the nastiest most racist thing possible.”
She went on to say: “After I had wasted my breath trying to knock some sense into her I just let her speak. It all started when she had said in the most demeaning poor excuse of a supposed ‘Asian’ accent that she’s Asian, she ‘can’t see that’s why (she) can’t drive.’”
Cairel added: “She was actually the one to pull out her phone first saying, ‘This should go on Instagram’ and started recording me. I just got back to my car after getting some Voodoo donuts and just wanted to go home. I never let this pass, and I want to make sure this kind of behavior is seen and how many people of color encounter this all the time. I want to make sure she gets seen, and her racist, ignorant behavior are exposed.”
In a statement, Measelle’s mother confessed that her daughter is “sorry” and had “made a mistake.”
It is being claimed that she was forced to leave her home because of the backlash.
Over 2 million people have watched the racist clip, and many are defending Portland by saying that it is a pleasant place to live and not all the residents share Measelle’s views.
Several strippers have also come forward to say Measelle is giving them a bad reputation.
