According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in the final stage of separating from the Royal Foundation they used to run with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

It is not clear how the situation developed and what led to it in the first place, but some reports indicate that the split might not have been amicable at all.

This development came not long after revelations of intense disagreements between the couple and the royal family on several fronts.

However, the foundation does not intend to slow down its mission in the absence of the newest couple in the family, and according to reports, work will continue as usual.

Still, many people at the organization have reportedly been feeling stressed out over the way things have been developing, with some worried about their prospects.

An insider told Page Six: “It’s not an easy time right now at the foundation . . . Everybody is massively stressed ahead of this meeting.”

As part of his life as working royal, the Duke of Sussex travels a lot. And, when you travel a lot, you start to learn what you need to make your stay at a hotel feel a little more comfortable – you might even start making special requests at hotels you visit. When Harry travels, for example, he asks the hotels he stays in to try to cut down on the unnecessary use of plastic. This little tidbit comes courtesy of Harry's close friend, Argentinian polo player Nacho Figueras. "[Harry] was there and we were at the hotel where we spent the night before the game," Nacho explained during an interview with CBS This Morning. "He talked to a person and said, 'This morning I got my coffee and I saw that you have a plastic thing on the coffee. And then I also sent my shirt and I got my shirt in a big plastic bag.' So that's this guy, okay. I don't like to talk about that at all, that's who he is. That's who they are. No plastic." It's not 100 per cent clear who the "they" Nacho references includes, but it could be anyone from just Harry's wife (and fellow environmentalist) the Duchess of Sussex to the entire royal family.

Additional reports indicate that the Queen might be trying to regain some control over the couple, although she may not have been too successful in that so far.

Indeed, the conflict between the Queen and Markle might be growing to even more enormous proportions if recent reports are to be believed, and it is not clear how this will all turn out in the end.

Many appear worried that the rift in the family might grow too strong soon, and it looks like there are lots of fingers pointed towards Markle in particular.

So far, however, she seems to be handling herself more or less okay and has been making progress in her involvement in the family according to some reports.

The royal family is playing as if everything is fine. A spokesperson stated: “We announced earlier this year the Royal Foundation was reviewing its structures . . . Any announcement regarding this review will be made in due course.”

Markle, who welcomed baby Archie earlier this year, is set to guest edit the September issue of British Vogue.

Despite the drama, fans are still rooting for them. One supporter stated: “What God has put together let no man put asunder. Hold on to one another, and as a unit to sweet Master Archie.”

A second commenter explained: “The best couple I love Meghan and Harry They are so adorable Love and adore their so much My favorite Royal couple Love them. ????”

Do you think Markle is to blame for the tension in the royal family?
