Those who believed that the childish antics of Miley Cyrus were over are so wrong — the old Miley is back!
Cyrus has recently shocked the world yet again by breaking up with Liam Hemsworth because she wanted to have fun and be wild and her husband was not interested.
A friend of the singer spoke to The New York Post and revealed the Cyrus has a very active social life where she parties with friends and enjoys lavish vacations.
Whereas, Hemsworth is a down-to-earth guy and is happy being with his family in his native Australia where he delights in nature and surfing.
The person in the know revealed that Hemsworth simply “couldn’t keep up with her whirlwind social life.”
The “Wrecking Ball” artist also made it clear that she was faithful to her husband during their brief marriage.
The source said: “She is acting like the old Miley’ again, but and he wants a normal, settled-down life. Miley was never unfaithful. She never hooked up with girls while she was married. It wasn’t a part of the relationship. There was no hooking up behind his back or with his knowledge.”
Another insider suggested that the Australian actor was the problematic member of the couple. The person told PEOPLE: “Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate]. Liam parties with his friends, and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.”
A third person close to the pair added: “She’s been supportive of him when things get dark, but it’s tough. That’s something that has weighed on Miley and their relationship. He can also lash out at her, and he hates the attention their ups and downs bring.”
After ending her seven-month wedding, Cyrus was seen kissing Kaitlyn Carter, the ex-wife of Brody Jenner, in a candid picture that has since gone viral.
The two ladies, who are vacationing in Italy, seemed to be having a lot of fun together, and the pictures made it clear that there was definitely something going on between them.
In a message announcing the split, Cyrus claimed that she was “ever-evolving” and changing as an individual.
She added that the two would remain dedicated parents of their animals, a comment that drew a lot of ridicule from many of her commenters.
And while there was initially some speculation that things between the two would not last shortly after they got married, hardly anyone suspected this eyepopping plot twist.
Cyrus is not the only one talking about her breakup on social media; Hemsworth issued an official statement that said: “Hi, all, Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter, and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.”
There have been rumors that the actor was blindsided by his wife’s announcement.
The couple met in 2009 and dated on and off before tying the knot in late 2018.
One fan had this to say about the divorce: “I’m all for female empowerment. Trust me I am…but she was straight disrespecting her husband w some of the things she was saying n doing. They’re total opposites. I’m not shocked.”
Another took to social media to share this message: “You can tell Liam wants a quiet life, a wife who will bear him children, and be respectful as well as private. And Miley trying to have hot girl summers. Lol. Getting married young is so dumb. Some people make it work, but’ you’re not going to be the same person at 23 that you are at even 30. Grow together or grow apart are your only options. More times than not,’ you’re gonna grow apart.”
This person wrote an entire book on why the marriage failed: “Nope.’ Don’t agree,’ won’t agree. They were never a match period.’ She’s been “Blurred lines” Miley all along. She cleaned it up for him. No matter the age, if u’ aren’t YOU at all times, you’ won’t last with anybody. All cards must be on the table. Only a few grow apart… The ones who partied hard & one wanted to stop or at least slowdown. The ones who were strictly raised & used a husband to get out of their’ parent’s house (men’ don’t often do that 1)then get way too wild with that freedom, my aunt lol. The ones who turn away from what brought them together (’ I’m a mom now I’ don’t need to do XYZ anymore) so they age up to a boring frump way too fast & of course the ones who changed for somebody or tried to change somebody (’ can’t meet a girl in makeup & say later after’ she’s vested, u’ don’t like it)’ Can’t catch the eye of a woman while’ she’s being wild & wretched & later say she needs to LADY up,’ can’t marry a homebody them complain they never want to go anywhere…. if u are YOU at all times & someone says to change it for THEIR comfort, you move on not move in. Unfortunately,’ that’s at all ages. People who discuss this tend to grow together every time. The ones who’ don’t almost always fall apart.”
The media is starting to have competing narratives on who to blame for the failure of the relationship. It is not clear, who is behind the campaign to sink Hemsworth’s “cool guy” image.
