An actress from the UK named Emmy Tayler has reportedly expressed her distress over the fact that recent revelations around Jeffrey Epstein have implicated her as a person with a connection to the notorious pedophile.
It is not clear precisely what the woman’s ties are, but Taylor has claimed that she does not want to be linked to the case of Epstein in any way, and has expressed her disappointment over the fact that her name came out in the scandal.
The only thing known for sure is that Tayler once served as a personal assistant to Ghislaine Maxwell, who allegedly worked as Epstein’s madam while also being his girlfriend on the public front.
Johanna Sjoberg, an accuser, said that the actress used to teach girls like her how to give massages to the disgraced financier. She also reportedly traveled with some victims on the so-called “Lolita Express.”
Sjorberg said in an unsealed deposition: “At that point, I met Emmy Taylor (sic), and she took me up to Jeffrey’s bathroom and he was present. And her and I both massaged Jeffrey. She was showing me how to massage. And then she — he took — he got off the table, she got on the table. She took off her clothes, got on the table, and then he was showing me moves that he liked. And then I took my clothes off. They asked me to get on the table so I could feel it. Then they both massaged me.”
Maxwell has recently been spotted trying to evade the public’s attention, although she does not seem to have been very successful at that, as many people immediately recognized her.
A relative of Taylor has explained that the woman believes she is now being accused of actually being linked to the pedophile ring operated by Epstein. However, it is not known if the connection is actually of that nature.
Tayler’s brother-in-law, Stephen Ongpin, told the Daily Mirror: “She’s been accused of things which are completely shocking to her. She worked for Ghislaine as a PA, but that was in 2001. She’s distraught by the whole thing.”
It is entirely possible that her name just floated up for unrelated reasons, but given the sensitive nature of the situation around Epstein, it is easy to see why someone would feel distraught at the prospect of being linked to Epstein.
It would be interesting to see if more comes out on this front, although these developments will likely take quite a while at this point, given the way the case has been moving in general.
Prosecutors want to interview the 44-year-old London resident because she was part of Epstein’s inner circle.
