Mac Miller‘s death took the entertainment world by surprise, and many are still reeling in from the loss.
It looks like Ariana Grande was particularly affected by the situation, and she is still talking about it actively in public.
Recently, Grande, who dated Miller, pointed out that Cameron James Pettit, the dealer who sold Miller the drugs that led to his demise needs to be put behind bars according to TMZ.
Miller reportedly died from a mix of Percocet and fentanyl, a dangerous combination that has unfortunately been gaining popularity in some circles, and has been the main contributing factor for prescription overdoses in recent years.
Authorities have pointed out that the substance is difficult to dose accurately, and it is very easy to slip over the edge and go too far.
And while the dealer in question is already being prosecuted, it will take some time for his sentence to be handed down.
According to Grande, this cannot come soon enough, and she has been quite vocal about her resentment towards the alleged drug dealer.
Grande apparently sees the situation as more than a drug deal that has gone bad, claiming that Pettit knowingly took advantage of someone suffering from addiction problems, and sold them something they should never have gotten in the first place.
She has been very open about her stance on the situation, and it looks like many of her fans — and those of Miller’s — agree with her position in general.
Others have been more critical, reminding her to leave things in the hands of the justice system.
One person had this reaction: “I’m not on anyone’s side. But when you sell someone drugs – it’s not your fault how much they choose to consume. Were all adults. I believe Mac knew what he was doing. He was in a very dark/hard place – possibly struggling with his mental health. I am not saying it’s not the drug dealers fault, and I think the only real thing at fault was just us not being there for our friends. Not being there for Mac, whoever was in his circle. We need to be accountable and aware and ask the hard questions to our loved ones about our mental health. ❤️”
Another follower claimed: “He overdose because the dealer sold him lace product… That is the reason that he is being charged… In fact, I think all drug dealers that sell hard drugs like this should pay the price of people’s death … I mean if a real doctor prescribed me drugs and I had a negative reaction to them, I would sue! So, make them pay the price …”
Grande is jumping into something very controversial here.
