Ben Affleck Gets Dinner With Steve Jobs’s Widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, At Chic Italian Restaurant In Los Angeles — Are They Dating?

Ben Affleck has recently been spotted entertaining the widow of Steve Jobs, Laurene Powell Jobs, on an exciting night out at Giorgio Baldi, an upscale Italian restaurant in Los Angeles.

However, in the light of many rumors that something is going on between the two, sources have indicated that this is far from the case, and they are just friends at the moment.

The denial comes even though some of the pictures showed them getting very comfortable with each other, and many of Affleck’s fans commenting that he is enjoying his new “relationship.”

However, that does not seem to be the situation. According to insiders, the two have been friends for a long time, and their friendship is still going strong after all those years.

There has never been anything romantic on the table at all, even though there have been plenty of rumors alluding to that over the past few days.

This is not the first time people have alleged that Affleck and Laurene are going out, but the two have continued to insist that this is not the case, at least, according to sources allegedly close to them.

Affleck and Jobs — the widow of Apple founder Steve Jobs — were spotted in Santa Monica, Calif., heading out of celebrity favorite eatery Giorgio Baldi. The duo came and left separately, but reportedly dined for nearly three hours at the Italian restaurant. Just a few weeks back, Ben’s ex, #JenniferGarner, was spotted at the same eatery on a date with her boyfriend. In July, Page Six exclusively reported that Jobs has been quietly dating Eleven Madison Park celebrity chef Daniel Humm. She recently teamed up with Leonardo DiCaprio and his environmental charity, and investor Brian Sheth, to launch Earth Alliance as a nonprofit to battle climate change. Initial reports of Affleck and Jobs leaving the restaurant called her a “mystery woman” — before eagle-eyed media types made the connection. Reps did not comment. Via: @pagesix

They did not even leave the restaurant together, according to witnesses — although they did spend quite a lot of time in each other’s company, making it evident that they enjoyed being together.

Observers say that it is easy to imagine what the widow of Steve Jobs has been going through over the last years, so it is good to see that she has a dedicated friend by her side to keep her company and make her comfortable.

Laurene was said to be dating celebrity chef Daniel Humm back in July, but the rumored couple never made things official.

Moreover, she is an investor in Eastern Congo Initiative, a nonprofit organization that was launched in 2010 by Mr. Affleck. Philanthropy is an area where Laurene spends a lot of time looking for real solutions.

So it is not clear if this 3-hour dinner date with Affleck has something to do with her being single or not.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker split from Lindsay Shookus in April and was previously married to Jennifer Garner.

They divorced in 2018 after eight years and three children together.
