It is official — Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are now a married couple after they tied the knot in a stylish wedding ceremony in Rhode Island.
The two looked terrific by each other’s side, and had a pretty extensive guest list for their big event, with over a hundred people attending.
Many other celebrities were also involved in the ceremony, including Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Kris Jenner, and even Adele. Lawrence herself was dressed in a creation by Dior, solidifying her fandom for the brand.
It is about time, too — it has been more than half a year since the two announced their engagement, and many of their fans have been wondering when the big day would actually come.
Some were even reportedly starting to worry that something terrible was going on behind the scenes, and the two might not actually end up getting married, but that was thankfully not the case.
Entirely, on the contrary, supporters have not seen any indication that there might be problems between the two so far.
Part of the reason why Lawrence’s fans were worried about her future with Maroney was tied to her comments on her previous relationship with Darren Aronofsky.
Back then, Lawrence proclaimed that being involved with people from her professional circle was a troubling factor from her, leading many to believe that she might try to avoid that in the future.
That does not seem to be the case, however, and Lawrence is reportedly thrilled in her current relationship.
Hopefully, that will not change anytime soon. A source spoke to Hollywood Life and explained why mama Jenner was present at the wedding — they are really close.
The insider said: “Jennifer really likes Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian and has spent some great times with them both and other members of the Kardashian family in the past. Since they are all friends, they are both on the shortlist to be invited to her wedding.”
The source added: “On top of all that, talk has turned to the possibility of being bridesmaids. Friends and family don’t know if she is joking or not, but Jen has mentioned that she would like Kim to be a bridesmaid. Regardless of how that turns out, it is clear that some of the Kardashian family, especially Kim and Kris, are going to be invited, and Jen would love for them to be able to attend once the date is set for the wedding.”
Kim K. had a huge birthday dinner on the night of the wedding, and her mother, Kris, reportedly picked Lawrence’s ceremony over the family gathering.
