New information about the tragic death of actor Charles Levin has been released after his remains were discovered in July this year.

The body of the actor, who is famous for his portrayal of The Mohel in the episode “The Bris” from the hit series Seinfeld and for his role as Elliot Novak in the sitcom Alice, has been found in an isolated area in Oregon, US, more than two weeks after he was reported missing by his son.

According to the police, the cause of death of the deceased was not suicide or murder, but a tragic accident.

The 70-year-old actor was driving on his way home through the mountainous terrain near Cave Junction when he got lost and eventually abandoned his vehicle, as his orange Fiat was later found stranded a couple of miles away from the nearest road.

Besides Levin’s car, which was utterly unmovable in the steep terrain, the search party also found the remains of the actor’s pug pet – Boo-Boo Bear, which they were able to identify via the purple collar that was present at the scene.

The actor’s body was discovered at the bottom of a hill from which he reportedly fell while searching for help.

His remains were partially decomposed, and there were signs of animal scavenging on the corpse, since some of the internal organs were missing, as well as his genitalia.

This is most likely the work of the turkey vultures that populate the area since there was also evidence of bird feces found on and near the corpse.

The gruesome details of the story have gotten a lot of reactions online.

One observer wrote: “Please tell me it was by animal and not a Jeffrey Dahmer situation.”

A second follower added: “I never realized he was the guy who played the mohel on Seinfeld at the Bris..”

A Golden Girls supporter chimed in: “So sad. I loved the episodes he was in! RIP???.”

Levin’s last role was in the movie A Civil Action in 1998.
