Rihanna‘s presence on an Instagram Live is all that it takes for Drake to join the conversation too.
The “Diamonds” singer was one of the many celebrities that decided to be a part of DJ Spade‘s Instagram Live, but it was not long before Drake appeared to tease her by commenting in the chat of the stream: “Robyn you can’t buy him A one hot spot?” in probable reference to a bad Internet connection.
Unfortunately for Drake, Rihanna did not appear to be impressed by his comment, because she did not answer him at all.
The rapper then changed his strategy, as he wrote “DUB PLATE CAME PRETTY LIKE A FENTY FOUNDATION,” followed by “Rihanna drop R12 now” in a direct reference to the huge delay in Rihanna’s new studio album.
However, it seems that the 32-year-old Barbadian diva did not appreciate her colleague’s remark because she snapped at him with “They brought a celebrity to the clash…weak!”.
The “In My Feelings” rapper allegedly tried to keep his dignity as he then slammed Rihanna for having a “bad attitude,” but apparently, his attempt proved to be too feeble, as the Fenty creator continued with “Give Drake some water.”
The two rumored former partners continued to jab at each other when Rihanna was lightly joking with Kevin Durant about him being positive for the COVID-19.
Then, the “Umbrella” singer asked if she should wear a mask to the live chat since the basketball star was online too, but at some point, Drake chipped in the conversation with his remark “we have to dead the trey five corona jokes.”
Rihanna and Drake might be collaborating on a new project in the future. The mogul recently did an interview with British Vogue, where she spoke about the reggae/dancehall album, currently identified as “9”, she is working on.
She stated: “Oh no, that is happening. I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything – I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre – now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want.”
She also said she is ready to be a single mom of 4 if she cannot find a man and added: “I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’. They diminish you as a mother, (if) there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child,” she said. “That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
