Kristin Cavallari‘s divorce news went from shocking to disturbing in a matter of hours because she is now making some rather alarming accusations against her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jay Cutler.
Cavallari seems to be handling the matter in an upbeat manner because she is killing social media with a series of pool photos where she has no clothes on at all.
Fans of the power couple were left baffled when reports dropped this week, Cavallari, (age 33 years), and Cutler both took to Instagram where they shared two posts confirming that after seven years of marriage, they have decided to go their separate ways.
The announcement of the split was followed by a long list of rumors of cheating and other scandals. The wild accusations were nothing compared to official allegations made by the reality TV star and against the father of her children.
In the court documents obtained and published by TMZ, the Very Cavallari star decided to leave her spouse because he misbehaved towards her.
Via her attorney, Cavallari, claimed that Cutler took part in “inappropriate marital conduct.”
The Laguna Beach talent also stated that Cutler “is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”
The model and designer also stated that “any misconduct alleged or implied against her in the complaint for divorce was in response to and/or as a result of misconduct on behalf of the Husband” — though the word “misconduct” was not used in his divorce filing.
The official documents also revealed that Cavallari filed for divorce on April 7th.
However, Cutler (age 36 years) said it was April 21st that their marriage ended after they returned to the US after a lavish vacation in the Bahamas that turned into a three-week quarantine.
It has also been revealed that Cavallari is requesting primary physical custody of the couple’s three children — sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and 4-year-old daughter Saylor — therefore Cutler would have visitation rights.
The former athlete wants joint custody. Cavallari, famous for appearing on TV shows and modeling bikinis on Instagram, who has a net worth of $10 million, is also seeking child support from the former NFL player.
As for Cutler, he has a net worth of $30 million. A few weeks ago, rumors claimed that Cavallari’s marriage was in trouble because of a cheating allegation involving Cutler and her friend, Kelly Henderson.
A source said: “The word around Nashville is they really don’t like each other anymore. They would accuse each other of cheating, but nothing really solid. They are both very stubborn and bump heads a lot and neither backs down.”
Cavallari responded by: “It was actually challenging for me at first to talk about the Kelly stuff. I started filming Season 3, and I didn’t talk about it because I was trying to navigate through the situation myself and I was hesitant to put it out there until I could really wrap my head around it and know what was going on.”
The retired American professional football quarterback has not responded to the allegations.
