Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Dealt With This Secret Pain During The Pregnancy According To A New Book

Millions of fans were delighted when Meghan Markle announced to the world that she was pregnant with her first child.

Well-wishes poured in for Prince Harry and Meghan, but a new book has revealed that it was also a painful period for them because of mean spirited royal family members who questioned their every move.

According to excerpts from the book, Royals at War, by investigative journalists, Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett, the highest members of the British aristocracy were suspicious of Prince Harry’s wife’s decision to get pregnant just three months after their lavish wedding.

Prince Harry’s relatives were said to be very surprised by the timing of the baby news.

And there were multiple “concerned discussions” within the “higher echelons of the Royal Family” following the announcement in October 2018 that the humanitarian was expecting.

A royal insider revealed to the writers that Harry’s family believed that the Duchess of Sussex was “ensuring her connection with the family was now irrevocable and ceding even more power to her” by having a child so early in her marriage.

It was also revealed that Meghan shared the happy event with the royals at the wedding of Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.

It claims that Harry was “embarrassed” by his wife’s decision to steal Eugenie’s thunder with the announcement.

Howard and Tillett said in the book: “Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child. This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a Royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah.”

Kensington Palace had always disputed that claim and stated they were thrilled to welcome the royal baby.

Meghan’s secret pain also included the fact that she was patronized for her choice of fashion during her first pregnancy.

Howard and Tillett added: “There were considerable rumblings over Meghan’s appearance. In the early days of the pregnancy, insiders said that Meghan had earned a stern telling-off.”

Backers of Harry and Meghan remind naysayers that the pair dated for years before they got married and that they were eager to have children.

Adorable baby Archie was born in London’s Portland Hospital on May 6, 2019.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and baby Archie have moved to California after cutting ties with the Royal family. The power couple is trying to make money via speaking engagements.
