There will be a huge reason for royal fans to celebrate soon in the midst of the coronavirus that changed the world forever. There is a royal baby on the way, and fans are beyond excited.
After Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third child, Prince Louis of Cambridge in 2018, and Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the son of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was born in 2019; there is a royal baby due in the fall of 2020.
The former Prince of Romania, Nicholas Medforth-Mills, warmed the hearts of many by announcing that he and his wife, Alina-Maria Binder, are set to welcome a bundle of joy in the fall.
The royal couple has very special ties to England — they wed in a civil ceremony in Henley-on-Thames in London in October 2017, and the following year they had a religious service in Sinaia, Romania.
Medforth-Mills, who is also a descendent of Queen Victoria, did his schooling in Southampton, England.
The baby news was announced to the world in a statement that read: “It gives me great pleasure to share the joy that my wife, Alina-Maria, is pregnant with our first child. The birth is expected in November. Our child will be brought up with respect for our ancestors and their traditional values in the spirit of responsibility and love towards our country and in the faith that myself and my grandfather, King Michael was baptized.”
This will be the second child for Medforth-Mills who was forced to admit in 2019, that he had a baby out of wedlock.
A paternity test confirmed that he fathered a little girl with a woman named Nicoleta Cîrjan. The baby bombshell meant that Medforth-Mills had to be stripped of his title and was removed from the line of succession.
He made this statement during the scandal: “Following my persistent requests to conduct the paternity test of my alleged child, Mrs. Nicoleta Cirjan has accepted. The result is positive, and I am the father of her child. Given the context in which this child was born, the fact that I have had no relation with the mother, I have assumed the legal responsibility to the child.”
He went on to say: “For reasons related to protecting the superior interests of the child, I believe that any issue about the child’s life is strictly private. With the wish to protect the child and avoid risks connected to the media or bullying, I have decided to cease any comments on this subject.”
Nicholas Medforth-Mills’s younger sister, Elizabeta, is now second in line to the royal throne.
