A backer shared the following theory: “This is so sad. I’m wondering if she committed suicide. Decided not to take her son with her and told him to stay in the boat ?. She may have planned to take their child with her but couldn’t bring herself to do it. It’s strange she took her life jacket off.”

Most supporters are still hoping for a miracle. Step Up: High Water, a dance series also starring Jade Chynoweth and R&B singer Ne-Yo, was cancelled by YouTube and got picked up for a third season on Starz.
