It has been revealed that Tamar Braxton was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after a suicide attempt. Braxton was found unconscious by her boyfriend, David Adefeso.
Police have confirmed that the singer and reality TV star overdosed and was unresponsive when they arrived in her hotel room on Thursday night at around 9:45 pm.
Adefeso called the authorities and emergency for help after discovering his girlfriend at the Ritz Carlton Residences. Adefeso told the police that Braxton had taken several prescription pills and consumed alcohol.
The ambulances took her to a nearby hospital. It is believed that Adefeso is by Braxton’s side at the moment.
The LAPD confirmed to the media, “we had received a call around 9:45 pm, and a 43-year-old female had a medical emergency listed as a possible overdose.” As of right now, Braxton’s condition is unclear.
According to The Blast, the mother of one had a complicated and emotional day where she was fighting with the network that airs Braxton Family Values, We TV.
A spokesperson for the diva revealed: “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.”
A source confirmed that Braxton has been working hard to get out of her contract because the networks have been making money using her talent.
This week, things got worse when the trailer for her new We TV reality show, Get Ya Life, surfaced online. Toni Braxton‘s sister was frustrated by the clip because she did not approve of the way it portrayed her.
Recently, Braxton took to Twitter to say she was fed up with her Braxton Family Values contract.
The power couple who have a live YouTube show called Coupled & Quarantined canceled an episode last week because Braxton was not well.
Are we going to talk about pay…. I 100 percent wrote the theme song… where is the coin… our show is on Netflix…. where is the coin… 10 years on The air… we make 75 percent LESS than the kardashians. How come there are no villains on that show? https://t.co/0dIueRQ2Dx

However, all seemed well because Adefeso shared this message: “Come hang out with my @tamarbraxton and I later today on Tamar’s Official YouTube Page. We were off last week so we’ve got a heck of a lot to say this week. You all know we don’t hold back. Always no holds barred! See you soon….”
One fan replied to the report with: “Sometimes you just never know what people are going through!”
A second commenter chimed in: “This is why everyone needs to be nice to everyone, we never know what Someone could be going through ?.”
A third person added: “That’s not the right route for anybody. May God bless her with the help she requires.”
