Even though Iggy Azalea is one of the most popular celebrities in the world, the singer has always been extremely cautious about keeping her intimate life a secret from the public scrutiny.
Despite regularly updating her Instagram profile with steamy pictures, the femcee is known for keeping a lot of personal details to herself.
For example, the Australian rapper tried to avoid sharing too much about her romance with fellow rapper Playboi Carti, and the theories about her alleged pregnancy circulated for months before she confirmed that she was really expecting a child.
Except for her announcement on social media that she and Playboi Carti have welcomed a baby boy, so far, the “Started” performer has shared nothing about her newborn other than that he is named Onyx Carter and has refrained from posting pictures of her baby — but that is until now.
The newly-made mother and her baby boy made headlines when they were finally seen in public, as Iggy and her child were noticed landing at the Los Angeles airport recently.
Although the 30-year-old rap star was wearing a mask on her face and maintaining the measures of social-distancing, she received some backlash for not holding her baby herself, as the infant was carried by another woman, who turned out to be Playboi Carti’s mother.
However, the bombshell was quickly defended by a fan on social media, who exclaimed, “Lol, that’s his grandma holding him [clowns].”
A mother had this explanation for the photo: “Convinced none of y’all have kids? What do you mean why isn’t she holding her kid? When you’re with grandparents/friends they always want to hold the baby.”
Nonetheless, a critic slammed the Australian rapper with this comment: “Damn sis had her hand politely resting in her pocket and still gave that baby and all those bags to grandma to carry…. must be nice.”

However, she did open up about her pregnancy on Twitter by saying: “It was really hard I can’t lie.
