Adele has done it again. The pop music maven looks unrecognizable in a new photo that she posted online Saturday, showcasing her incredible new figure after an epic weight loss journey.
The British singing sensation, who does not spend much time posting on social media, shared the image in support of Black Is King, Beyoncé‘s newly-released visual album.
The picture, which quickly went viral, was accompanied by the following caption: “Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art ♥️♥️.”
In it, Adele is wearing a brown crescent moon-print stretch top designed by Marine Serre with black leggings. The shirt matches what Jay-Z‘s wife is wearing in the “Already” music video that she is watching.
Kylie Jenner, her sister, Kendall Jenner, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Dua Lipa have all shown love to the same designer in the past.
Despite Adele’s best efforts to keep the focus on the work of the 38-year-old mother of three, people on Instagram and elsewhere were mesmerized by her weight loss.
Some fans even argued that she is completely different, while others even said that they miss the old Adele. According to reports, through dieting and exercising, the “Hello” artist was able to lose close to 100 pounds in recent years.
One person stated: “This looks nothing like you! I actually loved you with more weight on you, but I’m sure you feel more amazing, and you do look beautiful x x.”
A day-one supporter chimed in and urged followers to stop focusing on Adele’s looks: “Ever since this woman literally took over the music business, I was completely in love. I never cared about what she looks like because looks are not what makes us special. Listen to her voice, and you know what kind of heartwarming true lady she really is. She stepped back on top just to spend time with her child because she didn’t want to miss it. That’s a big sacrifice, and personally, I think it’s unique. The 32-year-old “Rolling In The Deep” singer is said to be dating British rapper Skepta (Joseph Junior Adenuga) after splitting from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.
Adele and Beyoncé have grown close after the 2017 Grammy Awards.
