Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has been taking part in virtual interviews while staying safe in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.
She recently sat down for an interview on BBC Radio 5, where she opened up about life in isolation.
Camilla Parker Bowles told Emma Barnett that, like millions of people, she has learned to adapt and make some serious changes to her life.
Prince Charles‘s wife said: “I’m ashamed to say that I really hated the internet. I didn’t understand it and thought, ‘what’s the point of this? Since lockdown, it’s been so brilliant because I’ve been able to communicate with family, my children, my friends.”
The conversation quickly turned to Charles, Prince of Wales’s health. The 71-year-old heir apparent to the British throne was hit with COVID-19 a few months ago.
Camilla made it clear that her husband is fit and strong as a horse, well, a goat to be precise.
She made this confession: “He is probably the fittest man of his age I know. He’ll walk and walk and walk. He’s like a mountain goat, and he leaves everybody miles behind.”
The Duchess of Cornwall also spoke about reuniting with her grandchildren again by saying: “You’re so excited because you haven’t seen them for three-and-a-half months… Your first reaction is to run up and hug them, and you have to sort of put up your hands. It’s a very odd feeling.”
Camilla opened up about her new passion for jeans and admitted that “It will be very hard to get out of them again. I think you get into a sort of way of life, don’t you?”
The royal couple recently released a series of photos that received tons of praise.
A royal fan shared this comment: “Prince Charles always looks so happy when he is with his wife. I love how they look at one another. This woman is amazing. She embraces the difficult issues. And well done to the staff at Boots who have worked through challenging times and dealt with challenging customers and situations. ???????”
Another sweet message read: “Interesting how the future King can handle an eagle, but the American president is scared of them… I am happy to see Camilla wearing a mask; social distancing isn’t enough, and the mask helps others as well as the wearer.”
Camilla has become extremely popular in the monarchy and comments like these explain why.
