Jennifer Garner is reportedly single again and ready to mingle after splitting from John Miller, her CEO boyfriend whom she dated for two years. Hours later, Ben Affleck‘s ex-wife was pictured on a beach in Malibu with her good friend and Alias co-star Bradley Cooper.
45-year-old Cooper appeared in a great shape and showed off his buff physique, and he was accompanied by his daughter, Lea De Seine, 3, a child he shares with ex, model Irina Shayk.
Cooper and Shayk split in 2019, and he has not been linked to anyone since the breakup. Garner divorced Affleck in 2018. He is now dating Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas.
Garner and Cooper portrayed friends and lovers Sydney Bristow and Will Tippin on the ABC spy show from 2001 to 2006, and they have remained close friends throughout the years. The photos of two Hollywood stars having fun together quickly went viral and sparked dating rumors.
However, an insider told Page Six: “[Cooper and Garner] are friends and have been forever, no truth to anything else.”
Despite the denial, some observers say there still room for things to grow between the friends. To illustrate their point, they are bringing up what Garner said about the Star Is Born actor in a 2018 speech at the 32nd Annual Cinematheque Awards.
She stated: “Bradley, what’s happening to you now is a pure joy to those who know you, especially to those of us who’ve known you from the start. It turns out you weren’t just handsome all along. You were also a wonder, and you are welcome at my table anytime.”
As for the breakup from Miller, one source told In Touch Weekly: “They split up before L.A. went into lockdown. Jen and John remain on friendly terms, so there’s a possibility that they could rekindle their relationship in the future, but right now, it’s over.”
Some fans are not convinced that there is romance in the air for Cooper and Garner. One skeptic explained: “Is this a bad thing to go to the beach with a friend… @jennifer.garner reminds me of the sweet high school chick everyone liked… I think we tie for smiles tho.. ????.”
A second supporter with the same impression added: “The only thing here is that they are great friends and enjoy such beautiful moments?.”
A third critic chimed in: “Omg, they’re probably just friends! A man and a woman cannot be seen together without someone thinking they’re dating! Smh ??♀️.”
