To protect her health and to focus on her husband, the Queen has been forced to step back and has barely taken part in any official duties, leaving Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William to replace her.

It is being claimed that her majesty is delighted by the way Kate has been able to juggle it all — the many royal engagements and motherhood, while being the strong support system that her husband needs at the moment after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle bailed on them.

A royal insider said the following about Kate’s strength and work ethic, which have made her the backbone of the family, and the person added: “These are strange times for everyone, senior royals included, and having Kate as her rock has made it so much easier for the Queen to adapt to her new life at Windsor. More than anything, knowing she can rely on Kate and Prince William to handle matters in her absence is the greatest comfort she could ask for.”

Prince William has also rediscovered how amazing his future Queen Consort is, a strong woman and mother.

The source went on to explain: “He’s relieved to have Kate to depend on and refers to her as his better half. Their approach to everything is similar—they embody that ‘Keep calm and carry on’ mentality, choosing to focus on positives when things get tough Kate’s… a genius at stepping back, breathing deeply and then approaching any difficulty with a level head.”
