Home sweet home! Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have splashed a large sum of money to make a splendid mansion in California their family home.
The power couple, who was in quarantine in Oklahoma with the diva’s three sons, returned to the Golden State and moved directly to their gorgeous three-story Encino estate that cost them $13.2 million.
The 13,000 square feet estate features a massive kitchen with top-end appliances and a luxurious home theater for the family to enjoy the latest movies.
Along with a four-car garage, the stylish home comes with a large swimming pool, spa, cabana with wet bar, and an outdoor kitchen perfect for grilling and entertaining friends and family when the coronavirus pandemic is over.
A source explained that the blended family is looking forward to the next chapter in their new home and added: “The home is very warm and inviting with a lot of space for the boys to tumble around and get dirty. Gwen has a glam closet any woman would love to have. And Blake’s closet isn’t so shabby either. They are truly happy as a family and it’s the new beginning Gwen needed.”
The move comes weeks after it was revealed to Us Weekly that Stefani had been forced to reevaluate some of her decisions.
An insider revealed that because of the coronavirus pandemic, Stefani is now seriously thinking about getting married to Shelton.
The source said the following about the duo taking their romance to the next step: “COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families. Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted.”
Stefani, who is very religious, was stalling on getting married to Shelton because she was determined to have her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale annulled by Catholic Church officials, but that plan has now taken a backseat.
The source went on to reveal: “The global crisis has changed Gwen’s feelings about getting the annulment and getting married. She had been committed to getting the annulment, no matter how long it took.”
This is when the wedding is planned: “Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends. She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom. It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”
Fans of the couple hope that the wedding rumors will be true this time around.
