Tamar Braxton Deletes Her David Adefeso Engagement Video After Angry Fans Told Her This

Tamar Braxton David Adefeso Engaged Instagram Post Deleted

Tamar Braxton is full of surprises. The diva and actress recently gave her family and adoring fans a terrible fright.

It was confirmed that Braxton was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after a suicide attempt that left her boyfriend, David Adefeso, rattled.

Adefeso found the artist after she had taken several pills that left her unconscious after a complicated day, where she was fighting with the TV networks that broadcast her shows.

After several weeks of recovery, Braxton returned home to be with the Nigerian businessman and her son, Logan Herbert.

Braxton briefly took to social media, and she posted a sweet video where she was having drinks with her man. The songwriter thanked Adefeso for saving her life and dropped the bombshell that they were engaged.

The 43-year-old reality TV star began her post by saying that she wanted to publicly show gratitude to Adefeso for being present when she needed him the most.

This past one was another busy weekend for my @tamarbraxton and I. We spent time at the Inspiration Awards organized annually by Step up LA @stepupwomensnetwork , a non-profit that helps primarily young Black and Hispanic teen girls. Heard some stories of “depression to revival” from some young women that almost moved us to tears. Step Up lifts up young girls in disenfranchised communities and steers them in a direction many of them would never have otherwise known existed. Many of these teen girls are in very high risk situations: absentee parents, drugs, sexual abuse, and more. It teaches young women that they are strong and smart and beautiful and they can achieve anything they want ??! They provide mentors, they have programs, they provide a safe environment to escape to❤️❤️❤️❤️! Step Up gives our girls a chance. Our daughters are our jewels….Soooooooo Bravo Ladies ????????. #LetsGiveOurDaughtersAChance

Yesterday my @tamarbraxton , Beans and I hosted our first thanksgiving dinner as a family. My dynamic 80 year old mom, sister, brother-in-law and niece as well as more than 30 close friends of ours attended. We had a blast!!! It always amazes me to see how Tamar and my family took to each other from the moment they met back in Nigeria; they love her and she loves them right back. During dessert my mom stood up to speak and she called Tamar her daughter. I wasn’t surprised: my family took to Tamar’s gorgeous simile, deep kindness and infectious sense of humor almost as strongly as she took to my family’s deeply Christian, conservative, African roots. But what if my family hadn’t accepted her? As with a lot of African American families, many African parents and families tend to get too overly involved in their children’s relationships and married lives, often to the detriment of the young couple’s relationship (heck, I’ve seen some of my friends’ moms move into the couple’s home right after they got married, which so often makes life miserable for the daughter-in-law). I vowed that I would never put Tamar through the misery I’ve seen other couples go through with the man’s family. So I informed my family early on that they didn’t have a choice! They either love Tamar the way they love me and accept her the way I accept her….or they risk losing me completely. Needless to say, I needn’t have worried!! My mom treats Tamar like her 4th daughter (I have 3 sisters) and Beans like her 13th grandchild, my sisters cherish her the way they do each other, and my brothers adore my @tamarbraxton almost as much as I do. Welcome to the Adefeso family, Tamar!! I am so grateful and give thanks that God brought you and Beans into my life. A word to all the young, strong brothas out there who are in relationships with our beautiful black sistas: please stand up for your girl! Once you pick her she becomes your #1 in life; and she comes before the rest of your family: before your mom, sisters, and before even you!! And that’s how to keep a happy home! #happythanksgiving #godblessournewfamily ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The TV host took the opportunity to dispel the rumors about her and her partner.

She claimed: “Through this entire time, you have held my hand, heard my cries, held me when I have been weak. You have had my ENTIRE back‼️ I will not allow anyone to call you controlling or ‘that’s that African man’ like I don’t have a mind of my own cause without THIS African man, I simply would not be here.”

Braxton went on to confirm that Adefeso has been her fiancé for a long time, and they decided to keep it a secret.

She explained: “I love you.. and although I been said yes in this old video… now and then, I couldn’t imagine what life would be like if you weren’t by my side. thank God I’m here and thank God for you .”

Braxton was hit with a barrage of negative comments by people who told her to get off social media and focus on her health.

The former co-host for The Real surprised many by deleting the video and logging off Instagram since mid-July.

While most of her followers understand the need for her to do this, others still miss her.
