George Clooney Skips A Moment With Wife Amal And Their Twins For This Famous Billionaire

George Clooney Wife Amal Virtual Event Barbara Davis

Since the health crisis hit the world, George Clooney has been in lockdown with his wife, Amal Clooney, and two children in order to protect their health.

The famous Hollywood star was spotted in mid-February on the set of his movie, The Midnight Sky. He was last seen in public in May 2019 at the Catch-22 party in London with his wife.

According to reports, Amal, her husband, and twins Alexander and Ella, age three, have been hunkering down in their English mansion.

While no one else had been able to do it, Barbara Davis has managed to convince Clooney to leave his cocoon to take part in a star-studded event.

On October 10, the famous Hollywood star and activist will appear in a virtual gala for Davis’s The Carousel Of Hope Ball.

The event was put together by the philanthropist and billionaire to help raise funds for the fight against diabetes via the Children’s Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.

The ball is very special this year because it will also mark Davis’s 90th Birthday.

Davis said this in a statement: “We are looking forward to hosting another sensational event, and bringing together our Carousel of Hope family to raise awareness and funds to fight his life-altering disease.”

She went on to state: “We could not be more proud to commemorate 40 years of the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, and the revolutionary work being done to care for those in need!”

In 2018 the gala raised over $1.9 Million. Via auctions and sponsors, the Carousel Balls have raised more than $105 million to date.

A presentation of the Foundation read: “Barbara Davis, with her husband, Marvin Davis, established the Children’s Diabetes Foundation in 1977 in Denver, Colorado.”

It continued with: “The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support programs at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes where more than 6,000 children and young adults with type 1 diabetes from across America and around the world currently receive care. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised close to $100 million to support diabetes programs and research through events such as The Carousel of Hope, chaired by Mrs. Davis.”

Other famous faces like Oprah Winfrey and Jane Fonda will also appear at the event. Observers notice that Clooney always makes an effort for causes that are dear to his heart.

He recently raised a lot of money for the Biden campaign when he joined his good friend, former President Barack Obama, for a fundraiser.
