For weeks rumors have been circulating claiming that Princess Eugenie is pregnant, and she recently delighted royal fans with an official announcement.
The Princess shared a sweet photo confirming that she and husband Jack Brooksbank have a royal baby on the way.
In the statement released by Buckingham Palace, Princess Eugenie’s due date was revealed as early 2021.
Buckingham Palace said on Friday: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Fans were quick to point out the obvious, a few days ago, she was pictured showing off her baby bump while wearing a lovely floral dress.
Eugenie was pictured out and about in London with a friend when eagle-eyed royal fans rushed to social media to say they could see that she was expecting.
A royal supporter beaming with happiness wrote this message to the parents-to-be: “Well, that’s almost the best news of 2020. Well done for giving us some joy. Congrats guys. ?”
Eugenie had this follower in tears for the following reason: “I woke up in the USA to this news, and I was like, “well, theres a reason to get out of bed in a good mood” I really needed this haha. I am so excited that I nearly cried when I read it. I am so delighted for them; they are a beautiful couple. ❤️ . Congratulations, Princess Eugenie and Jack.?❤️ I wish you all the joy and happiness in the world ? So sweet.”
Another congratulatory comment read: “Congratulations to you!! I’m so happy and excited for you to become a mother! ? Wishing all the best for Jack and the little one too!! ????? Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery x.”
Princess Eugenie and Mr. Brooksbank, who wed in 2018, are expecting a baby boy according to fans and bookmakers. Fans based that prediction on the cute baby shoes used in the announcement.
They believe that if she has a baby boy, there is a huge possibility that she might pick the name Arthur, or Albert, or James, or Edward or Oliver.
However, if she does give birth to a baby girl, the odds are high that she will select Alice or Victoria or Elizabeth like her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
